Trip over view; Queen Elizabeth National Park is in southwest Uganda. Leopards roam the Mweya Peninsula, which lies beside Lake Edward. Nearby Lake Katwe is a huge volcanic explosion crater. Boats on the Kazinga Channel float past hippos and Nile crocodiles. Chimpanzees inhabit the Kyambura Gorge. Trails lead to bat caves in the central Maramagambo Forest. The Ishasha area is home to tree-climbing lions and shoebill storks.

Full trip details

Day 1: Kampala – Queen Elizabeth national park

After an early morning breakfast, you will be picked by your driver guide who will transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park that allows you an enroute stop over at the Equator to perform a simple experiment and experience a tropical balance before proceeding for lunch at Igongo cultural center lunch and then the tour of the museum. Later proceed to Queen Elizabeth national park for a relaxed evening.  Dinner and overnight at Mweya safari lodge (FB)

Day 2: Queen Elizabeth national park.

After an early morning warm up tea or coffee at 6:00am, you will be transferred for a game drive along Kasenyi tracks and Queens mile in search of animals like: lions, elephants, cape buffalos, spotted hyenas, mangoose, waterbucks, kobs and, if lucky, the leopard, and some of  606 bird species recorded here( this will take approximately 3 hrs), this will see you return for a full breakfast, relax into the lunch break .After lunch, you will be transferred to enjoy a unique two hours boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel. This launch cruise gives you a great opportunity for photography, bird watching and game viewing at close range. Return for an easy evening, dinner and overnight at Mweya safari lodge (FB)
