Queen Elizabeth national park Uganda’s most popular game reserve for Uganda safaris and certainly one most scenic, to Bwindi Impenetrable national park famously, this “impenetrable forest” also protects an estimated 320 mountain gorillas – roughly half of the world’s population.

Itinerary
 

Day 1

Arrival and hotel transfer

On arrival, you will be met and received by your driver guide from Asyanut safaris, who will then brief you as he transfers you to your hotel for overnight at No. 5 Botique Hotel (BB).

 

Day 2

Golfing in Entebbe

After breakfast you will be transferred to start your golfing day at Entebbe Golf club. In 1901, The Entebbe Golf Course was opened becoming the first golf course in East Africa. The Uganda Golf Course in Kampala followed in 1908. Uganda now boasts of 17 golf courses, at least three of which have hosted major tournaments and are considered to be international standard. The Entebbe Golf Club is a par 71 course with 18 holes. Overnight at No. 5 Botique Hotel (BB).

Day 3

Kampala – Queen Elizabeth national park

After an early morning breakfast, you will be picked by your driver guide who will transfer you to the airport for your flight to Queen Elizabeth national park. Arrive into Lunch Time and after Lunch, transfer to enjoy a unique two hours boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel. This launch cruise gives you a great opportunity for photography, bird watching and game viewing at close range. Return for a relaxed evening, dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari lodge. (FB)

 

Day 4-5

Queen Elizabeth National Park

After an early morning warm up tea or coffee, you will head for a game drive along Kasenyi tracks and Queens Mile in search of animals like: lions, elephants, cape buffalos, warthogs, spotted hyenas, mangoose, waterbucks, kobs and, if you’re lucky the leopard and about 606 bird species recorded here. After check out of the lodge and transfer to Ishasha sector in search of tree climbing lions. Dinner and Overnight at Savana resort hotel (FB).

 

Day 6

Golfing – Bwindi National park.

Today after your breakfast you will go for golfing. The 18-hole Golf Course is bound to challenge even the most seasoned golfer and thrill the most jaded world traveller with beautiful scapes, scores of unique tropical birds in every conceivable colour of plumage, tranquil ponds and reservoirs, beautiful wooden bridges and a serious run on the greens and fairways; not to mention a few errant balls lost to the roughs and water.

Later after lunch transfer to Bwindi through the Kigezi highlands in the beauties of the ‘‘Switzerland of Africa’’, arriving at your lodge for a relaxed evening, dinner and overnight at Ruhija gorilla Safari lodge, Bwindi (FB)

 

Day 7

Gorilla tracking day.

After an early morning breakfast, you will be transferred to the gorilla tracking information office for a pre-briefing by the ranger guides who will then lead you into the forest trekking this great relatives of ours (Gorillas). The rainforest is dense and is crisscrossed by numerous animal trails, the thrill of spending time and observing the gorillas is a memorable one. Gorillas are shy and peaceful animals and it is an unforgettable experience to watch and photograph them as they interact with each other. After this day’s gorgeous adventure, you will return to your lodge for lunch (if not parked) and if time allows, transfer for a short community/nature walk to see this local people’s way of life and cultures or just relax at your lodge, dinner and overnight at Ruhija gorilla lodge, Bwindi (FB).

 

Day 8

Bwindi national park – Entebbe/ Kampala

After an early breakfast, checkout of the lodge and transfer to Kihihi for another round of Golfing before you take your afternoon flight to Entebbe. You will be picked at the airport and transfer to your accommodation for a relaxed evening. Overnight at Lake Victoria Serena Resort (FB).

 

Day 9

Golfing

After breakfast you will go for going on this 9 hole golf course. On the banks of Lake Victoria lies the beautiful, picture perfect golf resort with a 9-hole golf course with a challenging layout for golfers of all skill levels. The views of the lake and its surroundings are soft on the eye with ample bird life, while each hole has a different and relaxed feel to it. Its unique features include a finishing hole with an island green that is not seen in many courses. Rated among the best courses in the region and the first golf course in Uganda to have bent grass, the course is in great condition and fits in the profiles of top golf courses around the world. Day 9

Kampala Golfing / City Tour

After your morning breakfast you will transfer for golfing at Kampala Golf club. Standing on the first tee, one feels removed from the hustle and bustle of city life. Set in a valley, the course follows the contours of the land with the Kitante stream running through the middle. Uganda Golf Club is a traditional, tree lined, parkland course, with its signature undulating fairways. Or choose to do a city tour; places to visit will include Uganda Museum, Bahai Temple, Old Kampala Mosque where you can view the 7 hills of Kampala, Namugongo martyrs shrine and Buganda Kingdom Lukiiko. Lunch will be served in a restaurant in Kampala town. Later retire at Kampala Serena Hotel (BB) for a relaxed evening and overnight.

Day 10

Departure

After breakfast relax at the hotel as you wait to transfer to the airport for your flight out.
